Weekly Cooking Camps
Hands-on, creative cooking camps for ages 13-16. Perfect for intermediate to advanced. A great experience for future chefs or anyone interested the culinary field. Kitchen safety and knife skills will be covered the first day with lots of opportunity to cut and chop the rest of the week. We will cook a three course meal each day, experimenting with new flavors whenever possible. At the end of each class kids will sample their creations and/or bring them home.

Gardening
Adding ingredients from our backyard garden has always been a highlight in our camps. This summer we will pick, chop, and cook with lots of fresh herbs and vegetables from our garden.

Ethnic Culture & Cuisine

NEW MENUS FOR 2012
Our themes for this summer will include; American, Asian, European, Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean and/or Caribbean. We will cook a main dish, soups or side dish, and dessert each day. Teens signing up for more than one camp will have new menus each week.

Allergies & Special Requirements
IMPORTANT: Please let us know in advance if your child has food allergies or other special requirements. We are happy to accommodate vegetarians in all of our camps.

Child to Staff Ratio
All camps are limited to 12 children. Staffing will be 1:4 (1 adult for each 4 children).

Food Presentaion

Jr. Chef - Level 2 (Ages 11-13)
Intermediate to advanced: Our focus will be on improving kitchen skills using creative recipes and mature flavors. A good introduction to our teen Chef Camp.

Chef (Ages 13-16)
Intermediate to advanced: Our focus will be on advanced flavors with creative and complex recipes. A great experience for future chefs or anyone interested the culinary field.
