Weekly Cooking Camps
Hands-on, creative cooking camps for ages 8-13. We offer two levels to meet the needs of this varied group.
Level 1 (Mixed Ages): Ages 8-12
Level 1 cooking camps are designed for beginner to intermediate cooks and siblings of various ages. The focus will be on knife skills, kitchen safety, and cooking techniques. There will be lots of opportunity to cut, chop, mix and sauté. Camps will introduce kids to new flavors and encourage experimentation with recipes whenever possible. We eat what we make so bring your appetite! Discount for siblings.
Level 2: Ages 11-13
Level 2 cooking camps are designed for intermediate to advanced cooks. Menus will have more mature flavors and creative recipes than Level 1 but still perfect for pre-teen and teens who enjoy cooking as well as socializing with their peers. Knife skills, kitchen safety, and cooking techniques will be reviewed with lots of opportunity to cut and chop each day. A good introduction to our teen Chef Camp. We eat what we make at the end of each class. Discount for siblings.

Adding ingredients from our backyard garden has always been a highlight in our camps. This summer we will pick, chop, and cook with lots of fresh herbs and vegetables from our garden. |
NEW MENUS FOR 2012
Our themes for this summer will include; American, Asian, European, Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean and/or Caribbean. We will cook a main dish, soups or side dish, and dessert each day. Kids signing up for more than one camp will have new menus each week, no repeats.
